Seeing Judit Matthews' wonderful post in the gallery today reminded me of our recent visit to Hay-on-Wye where there is a small exhibition of Quentin Blake's work currently showing, We saw some of the original illustrations for Roald Dahl's books and the work he did for the 1993 Christmas stamps of Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol'. The exhibition is inside the castle, so will cost you the entrance fee and lasts until the end of February. We had a thoroughly good day out in this charming little town.
