Positive comments

Just wanted to thank all who have commented on my latest, as yet unfinished, oil painting, you have given me such a boost. I sent a photo of it to my daughter, my husband has obviously seen it too, and the comments from them were: The middle section (a nude) was thought to be vegetables! "Why did you leave the strip across the body from the next layer, you wouldn't pull paper off like that!" (Not unless some of the paper was more stubborn) "Can't understand why you painted the nude green?" It didn't look right to me when it was flesh-coloured and I liked the idea of it being green - I had one of those flashes of thought that I had to carry out. As my family often criticize constructively, I can usually follow what they are on about, but not this time, which is why I put it on here asking for good or bad comments. All that have come back have been positive, no mention of green bodies or vegetables! You have given me the incentive to 'tidy' the painting up now. Thankyou :-) :-) :-)
