I have spent a very pleasant few hours reading Robert Jones e-book called Oil Paint Basics. I would recommend it to anybody out there who has an interest in oil painting and I would definitely recommend visiting Robert' web site, the address is mentioned above in Landscapeart review of the same e book. I have dabbled with oil painting over the years, doing it my way but not necessarily the right way ,and this e book helped me to actually think about all the stages that one goes through when putting a painting together. Roberts' chatty, friendly style shines through and makes it a joy to read, not at all stuffy or boring. In short, a real good read, and I would defy anybody to find anything about oil painting that has been left out. Congrats Robert, it's a winner :-D
Very glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for your comments!
