Thought I let you know that I've just posted a painting of poppies just in case you missed it. It's so far outside my usual style but I found it really enjoyable having a go at new techniques and subject matter. It has helped to underline, to me at least, that there is so much to learn in watercolours that I find it difficult to convince myself to try out other mediums. Having said that I have just dabbled in acrylics and will continue with this although it doesn't come so easily to me.
