Just been to Pittenweem Arts Festival for the first time. What an experience! It is an annual exhibition held in various venues in a little fishing village on the east coast of Scotland. Artists from all over come here for 9 days to sell their work, they hire anywhere they can, peoples homes, garages, gardens, shops, offices. They pay a rent to the owner and an entrance fee of £275 to the Festival and keep anything they make. In some instances they do very well, making thousands! They have their list of work on display and red dots on when sold. A worthwhile adventure I would say, If only I were good enough lol! Anyone exhibited here before?
