Today I visited the Grand in Folkestone were the Friends of the Folkestone Collections www.folkestonecollections.com had displayed a fantastic collections of paintings by famous artists.
What a treat! I have seen a beautiful etching (sanguine) by Aldous Eveleigh
A painting by John Piper - A nude in watercolour by Fred Cuming - an etching by Victor Passmore - work by Bernard Dunstan and much more other works but what made me the more excited was to view the work of Sir Peter Blake : There were four little paintings of Alice in Wonderland.
I could not stay long enough to study them, people were around but I did enjoy the exhibition so very much.
