'Looking for the next Stubbs and Munnings!'
Open Equestrian Art Selling Exhibition at the Sally Mitchell Gallery, Tuxford, Notts...25th Sept - 8th Oct 2011, organised with the Society of Equestrian Artists. A chance to be noticed not only by Sally who runs an immense Fine Art printing empire of sporting and equestrian artists, but also by significant collectors of equestrian art... Prizes… 'Best newcomer', ‘Best Hunting Picture,’ ‘Best Horse in Action,’ among others, and an overall 'Best in Show' awarded by the Sally Mitchell Gallery.
A panel of judges including Sally Mitchell will make a selection from works submitted on Handing-In Day 11th September in Tuxford and is looking for more artists...the entry forms and conditions are on the SEA website www.equestrianartists.co.uk ....if you’re a serious equestrian artist look it up now! Entries need to be in by 2nd Sept. Please note size restriction of paintings 24"x30" not including frame.
The exhibition will also be held online at www.sallymitchell.com from 18th September for advance sales.
Opening Private View for buyers, artists and guests 25th September from 2pm, prizegiving at 6pm.
