Julia Benning...(see her portfolio for work ) has had a pastel portrait accepted for hanging. at Patchings. It is a painting of a puppy she spotted when out shopping, and is lovely. The Oswestry and District Society of Artists are going by coach to the event in June, where her painting will be shown. Another bonus is that we have tickets to the demonstration by David Bellamy there in the afternoon, so looking forward to it very much. Shall have achieved 80 years by then, so hoping the old pegs hold up!!! Julia is far too modest to tell you herself, so I am doing it and she is sure to kill me when she finds out, bless her!
