New York? There are hundreds if not thousands of artists in New York who would fall over themselves to paint your family portrait - but I hope most of them wouldn't want to work from just a photo. There are directories of artists in NY - colleges you could approach. You've found this site, but you can't find them, even though you're in the NY area? What gives?
