Is it art ? What do you think ?
I guess the contents of the traditional galleries are considered art, hopefully, but what about the digital work ? I think so, as I work from a blank canvas (= drawing tablet) and push pixels around rather than oil paint. The images are not created from photos and as you can read they are created in Illustrator rather than the "usual" digital software, eg Photoshop. This makes them a) different, b) very scalable/editable and c) tricky to create.
I have just finished one commission where the client wanted their yacht to be added. This, and the re-colouring/editing is what the work is all about. ... But is it art ?
