Please take a look at this, a drawing (coloured pencil) of a mule in Tunisia. He was treated by the Brooke Hospital for Horses, and I have explained why and how these working animals are regularly abused, through the well- meaning ignorance of their very economically poor, uneducated owners. In common parlance, it beggars belief, and the Brooke do a wonderful job in so many countries where this animal mis-management prevails. I think the nobility of this humble mule speaks for itself.
