I've just joined the forum and have also posted a few of my paintings to the painters online gallery.
I started a 6 week acrylic painting class about 18 months ago and have been taking short courses since then. Prior to that I last painted at school about 40 years ago.
Acrylics weren't around for use in schools in the 60s and early 70s (or at least not in my school) but I love using them.
I think the artwork in the gallery is wonderful and all so different. I love looking at the portfolios. I wish I had more time to paint but some weeks the only painting I do is during the 2 hour class.
Maybe when I get to retire I'll have the time to paint more.
