Re pricing paintings, I gather getting insurance might be another hurdle. To exhibit, many organisers require professional indemnity insurance. But this only seems to cover you if your painting causes injury to another, for example. If the painting is lost, damaged or even stolen, I gather it would be difficult to get back more than the materials. I suppose it is understandable from the insurers point of view, but might make it hard to freely exhibit. How do others get round this? Euphrosene
