I was invited to enter 3 paintings into a gallery and today is the auction. Never had mine in one before, although have sold at exhibitions. The pictures have been on display for about 12 days.
Found it odd that It's for a charity as you'd think any funds would be useful but there were no hanging fees. There is a 35% fee off any sales, but that's fair enough.
Would like to be there this evening but it clashes with a BSO concert in Portsmouth so hope for maybe good news in a day or two.

I take the easy option and don't offer any of my paintings for sale as I keep them just for me. I have given a couple of paintings to my daughters, but that is all. I did have a solo exhibition back in 2011, but haven't bothered exhibiting anything since then. I don't think I am tough enough to cope with the whims of the buying public.
