Well, I took the plunge just after Christmas and joined Wednesbury Art Club. What a great experience, friendly helpful members who have really given me support and encouragement.
So much so, that I have 3 paintings in the Clubs annual exhibition hung on the walls of Wednesbury's Art Gallery. They are on show for 6 weeks, ending at the end of May. Well I really feel so chuffed and pleased with myself. I love painting (Watercolour and Acrylics) and this exhibition has really put the icing on the cake for me.
So, if anyone feels a little shy painting in public, then I would recommend that you join your local Art Club and show off your work in the Club's annual exhibition. It's guaranteed to put a big smile of satisfaction on your face.
