Hi All I will be having a solo exhibition of my paintings at the Bell & Bear public house in Emberton, Bucks starting  on 20th August running for approximately a month. The paintings are a cross section of my work from my POL galleries in watercolour and acrylics including a number of landscapes inspired by the local area and some places further afield. The Bell & Bear is a community owned and run pub, so it's not open on Mondays. Details of location and opening times can be found here: The Bell and Bear – A loved pub at the heart of its community All the best  Andy
Good luck with the exhibition, Andrew!  How many paintings will you have on display?

Thank you Jenny. I hope to fit in 18. Twelve watercolour and six acrylic.
Your first?  Well well - it's a lot of work; I've had several, but had a lot of help: without causing you to drag the violins out, I don't drive, I have trouble lifting things over shoulder height, I needed the help of kind friends: but - I did very well: I really ought to do it again, but some of those who helped me are now ageing themselves; venues are expensive; insurance is a pain in the wotsit.... so I don't bother any more, though (as said already!) I blinking well should - I made lots of luvverly money!   I hope you do the same, Andrew.  It's the overheads that do you in nowadays - venue hire, of course, which can render the whole thing hardly worth it, insurance (a good reason to join the SAA - far be it from me to say that I can't think of many others) - but I certainly found it worthwhile financially at the time, even though people forget and you have to keep pushing yourself forward if you're hoping to keep your work alive.   Do I care?   Yes, yes I do! - but .... oh I don't know; time passes, you stop caring as much. That's probably depression, but let us not get all psychological - makes us very negative; I don't encourage it, really!
Best of luck.
Hope it goes well for you  Andrew.
Excellent Andrew, well done. I hope it all goes well.
All the very best Andrew. You've put a lot of time and effort into your art. And a lovely place to hold the exhibition.
