Because I am already on page 2001, I invite you to have a look at my latest posting: "Feeding time - For Ine" : http://www.painters-online.co.uk/gallery/picture.asp?id=54510 This is again one of my favourite pen and washes for one of my grand-daughters. Because her favourite colour is yellow, I tried to put a lot of different yellows in it. The scene is totaly from imagination. Thank you for taking the time to have a look and maybe posting a comment. :->
I am assuming watercolour???    I paint bluebells on a fairly frequent basis.  And the tonal values are similar.  I have a nice violety / purple  and mix it with varying strengths of cobalt blue... Adding or taking away water.  I think you need to play around with scrap paper and a mixing palette until you are  happy. 
Winsor violet; Cobalt blue and permanent Rose; Ultramarine and Rose; as North Light says, take a sheet of paper and play around with those mixes - try cerulean blue with them as well, to give some variety.
