Two events coming up in which I am taking part: West Wirral Open Studio Tour. On the weekend of 13 to 15 November many artists studios and galleries will be open for an open studio event in West Wirral. This is a chance to meet artists at home and enjoy (and buy) art directly with the artist. The event is kicked off with an opening at the Hoylake Community Centre on the Friday night, with the studios open from 12.00 on Saturday and Sunday. More information available on www.wirral-open-studios.com LONG NIGHT 4pm – Late The Liver Sketching Club are taking part in the Long Night onThursday, 18 November 2010 There are lots of venues across Liverpool and most events FREE. When we don't go out, I usually spend the day working at the computer, writing, or working on photos to paint from, or just painting, or all three. I have, on occasion, for a laugh, watched - Come Dine With Me, or, like now, I'm going to have a little peep, to see if Flog It, is on.BestMick
At the moment, what I do all day is quite literally waiting for paint to dry - I reached the point with an oil where I should have stopped and let the paint settle, and didn't.  So I've had to undo some of the damage today that I did yesterday - not by scraping off, which I hate doing, but by working fresh paint in to the now tacky colour.  Fortunately, I was forced to take a break yesterday, because I had to chair a meeting ... I took my old gavel: frightened the life out of 'em........
Do you really want to know?????? Get up at six, empty dishwasher , make breakfast, walk dog, put on washing, make beds.  plan evening meal...maybe grocery shop, iron or clean lavatories.  Cook meals .  play far to much with my commuter talking to every one...prevaricate about painting, lots in my head.  Clear up , read or maybe watch the box if a good thriller on..go to bed. Something about a woman's work. ! Bet you wish you hadn't asked...oh planted spuds the other day.
Have the heard the old chestnut: Why don't old people look out of the windows in the morning? Well if they did they'd have nothing to do in the afternoon!
Go to work, cook dinner, put the kids to bed... Or drive ridiculous distances to visit National Museums of something or other. This Easter, we've hit Railways, Coal Mining and Science (the big one, in London).
Meltemi has doing burger all down to perfection...
