I'm using these boards for most of my painting in acrylic and oil at the moment: I used to like a slightly toothier weave, but am getting used to them, and like the way the brush can draw sweeping lines, or scumble the paint on. Haven't drawn on them much, as I rarely do any drawing before painting, but might give it a go. They're good value, too...

I discovered a new toy (in fact two toys!!!!). During the few moments that I was allowed to stay up, I saw an advert for a new marker: Staedler - point 88. I asked my hubby to fetch me one and also a waterbrush. The marker was very pleasant to draw with and with the waterbrush, I could give it a little wash here and there. The marker is watersoluble but not lightfast and I am not payed for this promotion!!!! (LOL) You can see the first of my series at
