Were I the pretentious sort, I should describe this as une bétise - a joke, a play, something trivial; it's carbon pencil, plus rather ghastly body colour, on a scrap of Arches watercolour paper; it's pretty awful, I know - but at the same time, it has something: you may not like what it has, but it's the sort of mucking about I tend to do when no one thinks to stop me....   I know: someone should...
This was immediately deleted by the system - unlike the 25 or so obviously spam posts I removed this morning.  Now, I'm not saying the system is wrong .... it's pretty obviously quite right; but in the spirit of defiance, I've persisted with it.  Well, we all make mistakes.
'twas the French phrase that upset the spam blocker
Yes - happily (or perhaps unhappily?) I am in a position to restore the post.  Now, I just know everyone is going to be so grateful!
Beautiful!

Well, I didn't see the original post Robert put on but will just have to stick my neck out and say "Ouch" and hopefully no-one will be offended.  I enjoy popping in now and then and value Robert's contributions.

Sorry, I don't follow what you're saying at all.
Nor me, Robert. All I can say is 'do not leave your pc unattended' when you have cheeky visitors. I've deleted the posts. My apologies.

You had me puzzled there - or someone did.  I'm still fairly puzzled now: let me know if your cheeky visitor needs a whack around the backside with my walking stick, and I'll be over at speed.
This wasn't the only place, Robert. A huge post on a fungi painting, I've deleted that, also, and posted a more modest comment. The 'cheeky' one in his 30's has had retribution by the hand of his mother, my sister. As we all know the water, outside, is very cold and icy, these days. . . Her words 'this will cure his hang-over' :)
