I had invitations to attend the preview of this Portmouth artist's work and attended last night with my wife. I thought I could draw, but this old chap's (he is my age) work blows my mind with his simplicity, variation of strokes, different technique and media. He was present and chatted but it was too crowded to reminisce about my visit to his studio. Many drawings priced at the £200 ish mark and we don't have that spare cash and my wife said you could draw these - Haaa.
The show is at the Jack House Gallery, High St (old) Portsmouth.
