Do you have one, or is it a case of anything that comes to hand?  I've tried all sorts of drawing surfaces in a long and not especially illustrious career - some I've liked, some I haven't.... But if you were asked to recommend the most sympathetic, responsive drawing paper available today - what would it be? <div> </div><div>I've got a soft spot in my heart for Daler Rowney cartridge pads - the ones with the red and yellow covers - for general pencil and crayon work; D-R heavyweight cartridge for pen and ink and light colour washes; and I liked the Rhinoart pads so much when I tried one that I bought a stock of them from Chromacolour UK: I see the website on the pad is www.victorstationery.com - the paper is a warmish white, and has a very pleasing tooth.  </div><div> </div><div>I still feel I haven't found the perfect paper for drawing, even so - is there a paper you return to again and again, than which you can find no better in the known universe?  Share your secret!</div>
