Being completely self-taught I think I can do with some advice on drawing in book-form so I can go back to it as needed. The Charles Brague course seems a bit overambitious for me at this point. Has anyone had one he/she would recommend for a beginner that might be useful up to intermediate? Many thanks
No specific recommendations, but: There ought to be a couple in your local library, and there will probably be a few in local charity shops that are worth taking a punt for small money. Don't discount the online resources, especially Youtube. Virtual Instructor dot com is pretty decent, and you soon zone out his unusual American accent. Get his newsletter and use the free video resources. There are heaps of others offering similar stuff
I forgot about Betty Edwards' book; I picked up an ex-library copy for a couple of quid off Amazon
Thank you very much for those tips. I will have a look straight away.
