How I love my life drawing class. Such joy from ginormous paper, lining paper , brown paper, news print, huge sticks of charcoal, filthy hands ( usually filthy face as well) big fat oil pastels, a large brush and inks . Being made to really look at a model, using negative spaces, measuring angles, sussing skin tones.Lights and darks, hair texture, ,a line of neck . This is what I get my greatest satisfaction from. Wow that to me is creativity.
