It's a long shot but I'm after an Open Box M plein air setup, preferably the 11"" X 14" but no smaller. Fingers crossed. Thanks. Caroline

Sorry Caroline , we are not being discurteous by not answering you its just that I for one dont have a clue what you are asking for and I may not be the only one. lets hope that somebody understands your query. All the best....Syd
Just googled it and wow what a price.... Syd it's a very light compact pochade from the U SA . I do know someone who has one but tis used on a regular basis. Good luck.
Art Bean ...enjoy your lovely things, and I hope you get your Open Box M .
Lots of people have certain things they like to spend their money on ArtBean. A neighbour of mine likes Italian clothes. A friend of mine has a new car every year. Some younger family members have a new smart phone and the latest gadgets every year. I'm not bothered about clothes (as long as I don't go around naked), and I'm not bothered about cars. I love my art stuff and I am not ashamed to admit it! Obviously the box is important to you and your needs, so I really hope you find one. Enjoy your trip to the States and have a good spend-up without feeling guilty.
I love travel and new cars and my slippers have holes in them - go for it Caroline
Hi Caroline - you sound very like me. I'm not at all technical so I wouldn't know how to change the name bit, perhaps someone will be able to help you with it. Broke my ankle twice 15 years ago, so the feet will only take trainers or walking shoes to protect them. Mobile doesn't take photos, and I am considered a dinosaur by my grown-up kids. I don't care, I have my lovely hubby and art and I am happy in my own skin. Also as we have treated the kids so much in their lives, we don't believe in not spending in order to leave more for them - sorry kids! Enjoy it all!
Sorry Double D - to see me naked would not be a daydream, it would be a nightmare!
Oh my goodness - poor you. I broke it the first time in the February - simple break, will take about 6 weeks to mend (they said). 12 weeks later, took plaster off. 3 weeks later, broke again. They told me it hadn't healed properly the first time! It's very delicate now.
Wonderful - knew someone could help. I'm fine now thanks Caroline, lots of bits and pieces going wrong, curtesy of a body that's aging quicker than my brain, but that's life.
When I could work with oils and loved plein aire work I made my own pochade using an old cigar box. My DIY skills are zilch but I managed and added a tripod connection on the bottom.it was very usueful. It still resides in a corner somewhere.
