That is a lovely painting , not unlike Renoir.  But I don't recognise the artist   I am sorry.
With Sarah, Phil, Ellen, Rose the dentist, and the granddaughter whose name I forget.

Good thick paint; a pleasing image; and of some age too.  Sadly - I don't recognize the style other than as being Impressionistic, and a great many painters adopted that...   Your name is Dutch?  If so - and you live in Holland - there are many sources of information, including the Rijksmuseum; while I don't think this is a master work - that is just an opinion - it IS of interest.  You show a swatch of Ultramarine in your 7th. photograph down, but I don't see that on the painting? If I had to guess, I'd say the painter was probably French - the same 'feel' that Sylvia has noticed; and I think it would be worth your trying as thorough a search, of museums, dealers, auction houses, art experts as you can.  (It reminds me of Sickert more than Renoir, but anyway, I'd be looking for painters working in the 1880s to around 1900.)
