There are so many good artists onthis website with many varied styles and I thought that it would be interesting to find out who influenced you most in your life. So much so, that you decided to have a go yourself.
Our local library stocked various videos (I'm going back a bit, and we had a betamax video player as , in our minds, DVDs were not going to catch on !!!)
I found a Ron Ranson videotape and that was that!
He explained everything clearly and concisely. I would recommend his approach to anybody.
Years later, when I went through a "poorly" patch healthwise, it made me think about making a bucket list.
No major holidays for me, I just wanted to go on a painting holiday. This was duly arranged and I was fortunate enough to go to Charles Evans beautiful home and studio, up in Northumberland, where I had a very informative visit.
I would recommend this to everyone out there.
Anyway , I'll stop waffling and leave the platform to you all as I think that the replies are going to be very interesting.
