In my capacity I booked him for a demo at our art club, being one of my faves and a member of The Wapping Group.
Two hours including at least a 25 min break for tea, which he kept on painting and talking to members who crowded round hin. A square canvas 60cms which started with a preprepared coloured ground and grid lines for aquaring up from his sketches and photos of a harbour scene at Lyme Regis.
Blocking in first, then adding shapes and tones there was a virtually finished piece after the time allotted with great success, questions and humour.
He is good in this role.
