Just wondered if any one out there has discovered Ralph Thompson. He was the illustrator for Gerald Durells animal books. He also illustrated his own books, his latest one has been out a couple of years "Dance of the brush" amazing animal studies..in pen and ink, very free and loose. I first discovered him when some one gave me a small booklet "Animals through the eyes of the artist"first published in 1970 by Readers digest.I would love to download an image for you to see, but anything I find on line I cannot copy/ paste it. I could scan it for here, but dont know if I would be infringing copyright! here we go again. I just want to tell you about him and see if anyone else gets as excited as I do.
