Mary Cassatt was born in 1844 and died in 1926.She was one of the two women and only American who exhibited with the impressionists.She painted mainly people many of her subjects were women and children. Her work is most appealing, very feminine.I am attaching a picture the title : "Maternity"I do love the expressions of the mother and child, it is so very real and shows a scene which has no age !
