Hang on Studio Wall

Had a troublesome mind week and didn't get any urban sketching in, not because I would be possibly frowned on, just darling grand daughter duties in half term, very enjoyable, including two swimming days, which she loves. Had ideas for new stuff and two unfinished works in progress and started more today. My bowl is no further fulfilled, I have tweaked a study from couple weeks back, started an idea from something on the front window cill and intend to kick off a piece from my sketchbook in the Juris Libeks style. Herb Ellis guitar double CD playing. Break for lunch, see to a builder visiting to give me a quotation at 2pm then might read for the afternoon and then watch a recommended DVD tonight titled O Brother where art though. Where do the days go when you're retired.

Days just get busier and busier - picked up frames this morning and now off to the studio to get paintings ready for a busy season ahead - that is after I've looked to Herb Ellis.
Don't know how I ever had the time to go to work. So if we are all so busy, are we really retired? What is retirement?
