Today was one of those days when everything conspired against me, the brushes wouldn't work as they should, the paint mixed itself into terrible colours , the canvas felt horrible and I just couldn't do anything right.
So
I picked up a discarded canvas with a half completed picture and began painting it out with the intention of just putting down a background colour , then started to see possibilities, three quarter of an hour later a brand new painting is beginning to emerge. Not such a bad day after all.
