Hello, my name is Dana and I am from the USA. I have done various crafts and artistic endeavors my whole life. I went to art school and have an Interior Design degree (and work for a custom cabinet maker as my “real” job) I also have a side hustle making t-shirt quilts, though I make traditional ones as well. I’ve been sewing since I was about 6 when my gram taught me.  My current obsession is pour painting, and like many others I discovered it during covid. But as much as I try, I just can’t master this technique! I’m here to learn more about the art of it as well as the technical aspect of it.
Welcome to the forum! I hope to soon see some of your work. Pour painting sounds interesting (and messy!).
Do you have an example of a pour painting you could post?

Welcome Dana! Must say I haven’t seen many pour painting on the gallery or forum. However I have read a couple of interesting articles in Leisure painter about using the technique with acrylic paints.
Hello and welcome, Dana. Sewing is a wonderful talent to have. I too, look forward to seeing some of your pour painting art.
Hello and welcome Dana, can I see your work? I am looking for crafts and artistic endeavors and I am really happy after I found your post. I was also looking for this https://casinosanalyzer.ca/online-casinos/canadian-dollar-cad website for my buddy who was looking for online casinos sites with reviews. And while searching for it on Google, I came across a link to your post as well.

I think the point of the post was that Dana was looking for some guidance on the pour technique - so if anyone here practises it (I certainly don't) perhaps this bumped post will enable them to respond.
Dana, if you're still about - I've posted a link to a pour-painting demo in another thread, which you might find useful.  There are others on YouTube.  You would need a bit of room to manouevre to accomplish the technique - more room than I've got, plus a more liberal hand with the cash to buy the paint!  But there are several demonstrations available.
