Hello, I am new to POL. I am a full time artist, working mainly in acrylic, although I use a lot of other media too! I usually paint abstracts but occasionally do more subjective stuff. About 10 years ago my work was far more "realistic" in style but gradually became more abstract.
I live in a rural location - when I open the door in the morning, I often come face to face with the local wildlife, badgers, deer, otter, pine marten, to mention but a few. Probably my own fault for being such a lazy gardener and having a wilderness for a garden. :)
I use WetCanvas a lot but fancied the idea of a UK based site, so here I am. I suspect that it will take a while for me to work out where to post, etc

Your wildlife garden sounds wonderful. Here in north Wales the gamekeepers got rid of most of the Pine Martens , so sad. But we have most of the other creatures .
Wet Canvas is huge and I can never find my way around it , So in the main we are small and friendly , and usually someone has an answer to most queries.
