There a lot of painting demonstration dvds available on the market, but all tend to be expensive and some are of short duration. I would maybe view one only four or five times so doubt if the expenditure is worth it. Our local library has none!
I have just checked W H Smiths' online rental dvds which cost typically £9.99 per month, and whilst there is a good selection of recordings about painters, there are very few about technique. At that price I might as well buy a dvd every couple of months.
Is this a business opportunity for someone - The Artist publishers perhaps? I would be interested in a specialist rental service, preferably on a pay per dvd basis. Does anyone know of such a service? Would there be support for such a scheme?
