Hi, So i wanted to find cyan or primary blue in artist's quality paint. Don't ask why! Maybe there's no such thing. It's only available in student ranges as it's a process colour perhaps. Ok, maybe it has another name in the 'posh paint' ranges. Let the fun begin. I'm thinking Phthalo. I hear it replaces prussian blue, green shade. I find lots of names in the catalogues, Winsor, DR monestial, Kings etc. which I guess are all Phthalo, but all seem too dark. Is there anybody on the forum with a chemistry degree or just 'in the know' about the blues. Thanks go to the late, great Gary Moore for the subject title. Turpsywash
