Has anyone used oil painting brushes from AS Handover Ltd? I am looking for a hog bristle type and usually go to Rosemary & Co but from somewhere, I know not when or where, I have acquired a number 12 filbert from AS Handover which has been pretty good. Any experience of their range etc. would be appreciated.
Other than that they've been around for some 60 years, produce an interesting range of sable and bristle brushes for oil - together with stained glass and gilding brushes - and are available from Jackson's, I know little about them - they couldn't conceivably be worse than some Jakar brushes I inherited recently, and I suspect are several leagues better.... If you've got one that you've found satisfactory, I should hasten to acquire more! Manufacturers of high quality artists' products are to be encouraged. http://www.isleofwightlandscapes.net http://www.wightpaint.blogspot.co.uk
