A different Paper

I'm always on the look-out, when I can get away from work, for new paper and other things of interest to use in my art work. The other day I bought myself a fragranced card to hang in the vehicle, its been produced by the 'sheep poo paper' company. I didn't actually realise until I saw the programme, Mountain, presented by Griff Rhys Jones, that the product was actually made from, sheep poo. Now I do like my sheep and I do paint them, so why not on the, poo paper its self. I got in-touch with them and they have been so very helpful with my enquiries as to suitability as a surface for art. I will be exhibiting the finished works in a local art exhibition later this year if all goes well. I will be posting my findings with the suitability of use regarding different mediums. The paper will be 300gms and is textured. I quit fancy scenting a painting to see what happens, if anything, to the medium used. I will be sending for the paper, Monday and they have been in their archive to dig out some thicker paper they produced when the company first started up, what a privilege. I am so excited I cant wait to get started.
