Not strictly a book review, more a book preview, but it seemed sensible to group this thread with other book-related matters. I'm very excited to announce that I've been commissioned to write and illustrate a practical guide to wildlife art. Whilst it will mostly be about the practical issues, tips and techniques for producing wildlife art, I will also include a brief history of wildlife art to set the genre in context. The book will include a wide range of images from many different artists to provide inspiration and an awareness of different styles. You can see more information on my blog http://garnerwildlifeart.wordpress.com/2012/03/13/the-wildlife-artists-handbook/ I'd love to hear from POL members about any topics or techniques you'd like me to include. I have lots of ideas about what should go in the book, but it's not just about what I think. I really want this to be a useful guide for anyone who wants to be inspired by the natural world, so please let me know what you would want to see in "The Wildlife Artist's Handbook".
