An interesting exposition on painting theory and the loose impressionistic watercolour painting that leaves the viewer to interpret that grey area between the true figurative and the true abstract. More the paint what you feel rather than paint what you see. A sentiment that I concur with.
A book aimed at an experienced painter that should encourage some thoughts and to paint in that elusive looser style, that freedom of expression that so many artists seek...
Search Press seem to be turning out some useful modern art books.
A good read too...while not my style of art it offered much to think about.
