I've had this book for some time and no doubt I read it when I first bought it. However recently having decided to rewrite my own effort on Graphic Composition that is "Into Composition", I have been re-reading some of the many books I own on the subject.
Ian Roberts' book was a revelation to me, I fail to see how I managed to miss out on including many of the excellent pieces of advice he gives on the subject. I can heartily recommend his book which cannot fail to change your mind about your own approach to painting. The price includes an excellent DVD skillfully incorporated into the hardback cover. I'm afraid that owing to the lower exchange rate it costs the best part of £20 but secondhand copies are available from £11 which is not so bad.
