Readers of the L P magazine will have enjoyed Geoffspictures in the Feb. issue and he is a brilliant artist. . on page 17 his picture Venice 2 was painted with a photographic reference and is a lovely example of his work.. On looking at the small bridge in the foreground I wondered who would have thre courage to cross it . considering that a slight stumble would land you in the murky depths. having worked in civil engineering I would have positively had a railing each side and i had bad thoughts about the design. On llooking closely at the photo ,guess what i saw......lovely decorative railings . i immediately felt that i could safely cross that bridge bu i wondered why Geof hadnt thought that the wee bridge was unsafe as he had painted it. If Geoff is reading this I hope he wiil add the health and safety addition to the lovely bridge . Cheers Geoff
