What a great idea... love it!
Cheers AG. Aiming to start on stencilling in the bride and grooms names along the bottom. Bought a fancy stencil and need practice and also which tool to use without getting messy. Given myself a real labour job by the style of stencil I have bought. Tried various brushes with the stencils and need total concentration and care. Not easy with my limited control and dexterity. Cards won't work, the sponge was meassy. Look like fave is a small filbert. All change!!!!!!!!!!She doesn't like it, so now A3 size in landscape, simple black pen lines, no colour, no shades, no toning.

Thanks Syd and Sylvia, She is bringing grand daughter round this morning and I am sure we will sort it all out.
This SHOULD be the final tree. 50 x 40 W&N canvas faced board We tested the paint colours for the thumbprints yesterday. It dried very quickly and I used a Uniball fine pen to scribble on the marks and it worked OK Simple tree structure, Plain white board, Uniball Fine pen, no colour, no shades, no tones, a few bark marks, plenty of twigs. Space at the bottom for a pal to do his wonders with exquisite calligraphy about 25mm high for their names and date Also if you go back to the original version, what subject should I paint over it probably half the size, since it seems a waste of a good board.

Oh yes - cheers Ellen
I'd worry about getting ink on my dress! I've never heard of this before. Well done Derek for your patience and for producing nice designs for the big day. Kay Marriott
The ink hardly smears at all Kay, but that's madam's problem to warn them. I will be well out of the way, probably the bar.
Cheers Syd
