Our daughter is to be married in 3 weeks and organsing the whole thing herself, her chap doesn't move much.
Amongst other more materialistic stuff she has asked me to contibute a board for each guest to place their thumbprint (TB) and name on - new idea I understand.
She sent me some internet designs having found the idea on the web which were tree shapes but mere drawings but I have put my own print on the occasion by creating this work on a 70 x 50cms board which I will get framed for them. She has bought inks to be used for the TBs which are in 6 colours and guests can pick their choice and anoint the tree anywhere they want to.
She is as I used to be - a control freak and wants me to tone down the colours especially the blue as she thinks the TBs in various colours will not stand out sufficiently. I have left enough white spaces, there are 60 guests and even if they place their TBs on a branch it will stand out - I believe!
I aim to do this soon as I don't want to upset her, but I think she is wrong.
Any thoughts? Should I and what toning down?
