Hi, Thanks for all your advice in the past but i have another question. Would it be ok and plauseable to put white acrylic or gouache on one of my fir tree paintings to create a snow scene or start all over again.. PeterAllan newbie.
Provided it's an acrylic or watercolour, yes - it wouldn't be a great idea to paint white gouache over acrylic although you could try it; but it makes more sense to overpaint with more acrylic. If it's watercolour, probably gouache would give a somewhat happier look, but much depends of whatever acrylic you chose to use. If it's oil - no: the only thing you can paint over oil is more oil. If you're asking about how it would look as opposed to whether it's technically feasible, that depends on the skill with which you do it .... have a go on a spare bit of paper first, to get the feel for it.
