Yes mixing for instance a lighter tone to something you are using ...eg greens in leaves add a bit to alter the tonal value. Also I've just used it to do a back ground for a large acrylic mixed a blue with it and it acts like a gesso....well I think so ,someone will probably dis agree. Have a play. If not I will buy it off you .,

Sorry Sylvia - I was about to say that you can have it for nowt, but I can’t actually find it… it probably got thrown out in the last annual art room shuffle / tidy up session!
I use galleria titanium white for mixing, and liquitex heavy body titanium white for highlights. (Acrylics)
