I've been gifted some unfinished paintings and other art supplies and thought it would be great to paint over now that I'm trying to get started after 20 years of not painting - I probably won't start with a masterpiece. ;-)
In the box are both acrylic and oil paints, so now I wonder if there's any method I can use to find out what is on the canvasses. Masterpiece or not, I'd like to avoid painting acrylic over oil - and unfortunately I have no space for drying oil paintings, so I'll be working acrylic only.
