until recently I have scanned my paintings or taken photos and saved them as JPG files. When I tried to use these files as a basis for giclee prints I had to realize this was just not good enough. Jude of www.salt-of-the-earth.biz has been most helpful in guiding me through the exercise so I am now looking forward to receiving my first giclee print from an uncompressed TIF file. Does anyone have any other useful hints regarding giclee prints from paintings? After all you would only want to use this high class process for your very best work, wouldn´t you.
