I have posted a painting in my gallery "Bournmouth".
One of our member passed this comment :
"One of the reasons I don't use Acrylic is the colours tend to be too strong, I think the sea here tends to prove that somewhat. otherwise a good picture"
I am a bit baffled ! I do not use strong colours in all of my paintings and I wish that he would have a good look around my gallery.
I am a painter of colours. I ADORE to exaggerate the tones, but in this particular one my client requested for strong colours and I went for it.
I would have done the same job in Oil.
Poor Acrylics ! A medium that so many artists have to defend for their wonderful proprietes. *-)
