Hi all, I'm new to acrylics and am in the process of recreating a picture that I did in watercolour in the new medium (View of St Peter's from the Palatine Hill, Rome). Having painted St Peter's in a delicate shade of purple in watercolour (which did look good) I did the same in acrylics and it looks absolutely rubbish. So I want to go for a more naturalistic 'stone' colour with just a hint of yellow (perhaps). Does anybody have any suggestions, as this has literally been keeping me awake at night 8-) !
